Simply being able to actually adhere to a programme/diet and be disciplined to do this week in week out is the most important, then of course a calorie deficit, remember you must remain in caloire deficit to lose body fat!!! Following an exercise programme will aid this process, but of course exercise is important for general health, not just for fat loss!!
